Nos ocasiona gran tristeza la pérdida de Tita Rodríguez, Adé Ekún, quien falleció en Miami ayer, 4 de febrero. Tita—quien me conoció a mí prácticamente desde que era un niño en New York—me asistió con la dirección del Cabildo Yoruba en los años 80 en esta ciudad y fue un baluarte muy importante para la organización. Era una luchadora incansable, audaz, determinada, y en más de una ocasión hasta obstinada, especialmente cuando se trataba de defender una causa en la cual ella creía.
