“Mo wari fun isese o! Isese A gbe wa o! Aase! Alaafia!
I WISH TO THANK YOU FOR A WELL WRITTEN AND PASSIONATE DEFENCE OF THE LUKUMI POSITION. Many practioners are annoyed as to the din and noise that is currently occuring as this debate takes place. IT IS NECESSARY. Your response has demonstrated your commitment to discipline and courageously engaging the issue at hand. In Republic Trinidad & Tobago there are similar challenges that face us ,though very few are willing to accept this reality. I can perhaps express myself more on this issue but I am currently limiting my comments so as to remain as impartial as I can in this debate. I do pray however that common sense and wisdom will prevail and that there will be positive resolve of these issues that is beneficial to all parties involved and to the integrity of our sacred and holy Traditions
A Sin Eledumare!”

“The Diaspora territories where orisha traditions have been rooted and grown, are independent jurisdictions that only have to answer to, and maintain the fundamental traditions that our “Americas” African Ancestors thought proper and effective to push forward. It is in respect for them that I join you in taking issue with the ignorant and discourteous methods employed.”
Oba Oriate and scholar, John Mason

“Estamos unidos a el Acuerdo de los Oba Oriaté recién firmado en la ciudad de Miami. Exhortamos a unirse todos los que de verdad sientan la legendaria religión Lukumí.”
