Os anjos da guarda, dizem os estudiosos, são seres designados para proteger os humanos

Anjos da guarda são como amigos do peito, sagrados para a angelóloga Telma Insuela, que durante anos acumulou uma bibliografia de mais de 150 títulos sobre o tema. E é com base na pesquisa de diferentes filosofias que ela explica: “A hierarquia angélica é formada por seres que não encarnam e não são terrenos”. Os anjos, diz a especialista, são companheiros luminosos, designados pela espiritualidade para proteger e orientar os seres humanos em sua jornada na Terra.

De tradição para tradição religiosa, existem diferentes leituras sobre o reino angélico. A cabala, por exemplo, considera um anjo para cada dia do ano, generalizando, portanto, a guarda destes seres alados. Telma discorda da teoria dos anjos cabalísticos – tema, inclusive, de um best-seller da pesquisadora paulistana Mônica Buonfiglio. Para a estudiosa baiana, cada pessoa tem seu próprio anjo da guarda: “Ele é pessoal e intransferível e nunca abandona seu protegido”.

Todas as filosofias, entretanto, concordam que os anjos guardiões são os que estão mais perto dos humanos. E, por conta desta proximidade, os especialistas no assunto dão várias dicas para as pessoas aprenderem a estabelecer o contato. “Os anjos estão cada vez mais próximos de nós”, pontua Rose Saffe, também há muitos anos dedicada à angelologia. “Eles estão atrelados ao nosso crescimento e sua aproximação resulta do trabalho de preparação da raça humana para esta nova era que chega agora, na qual nossas virtudes estarão mais acentuadas”.

Como são energia, os seres alados aos quais cabem a tarefa de transmitir aos homens inspirações divinas, não vêem as pessoas. “Somos identificados por eles também como energia”, esclarece Telma Insuela. Como eles vibram alegria, leveza e espontaneidade, podem ser contatados mais facilmente por um ser humano que esteja na mesma sintonia energética. “Anjos gostam de festa, de música, de doçura”, informa a empresária Josélia de Pinho, que todos os anos, no dia 2 de outubro, Dia dos Santos Anjos, faz uma festa de aniversário – com bolo e tudo – para os seres angélicos.

O contato com estes amigos ocultos só acontece quando um ser humano manifesta o desejo. “Ele pode pedir ajuda em momentos de dificuldade que seu anjo o atende”, garante Telma. Ela indica ainda meditações com esta intenção, mas alerta que os atos negativos, cometidos por uma pessoa, só faz com que esta comunicação seja bloqueada. “Os seres angélicos fazem uma leitura de cada ser humano, através das cores de sua aura”, explica. As cores que emanamos, a partir do sentimentos que expressamos, é que configuram esta linguagem, de acordo com a estudiosa. Por isso, é bem mais fácil para as crianças fazerem o contato com o anjo da guarda. Elas, afinal, ainda são o melhor exemplo humano de amor e beleza.

KEARNY – A strange object found near South Kearny railroad tracks operated by CSX Transportation triggered suspension of PATH service from Newark to Jersey City yesterday morning, officials said.

At 10:57 a.m., a CSX engineer found an object the size of a basketball inside a cloth bag that was wrapped in chains and padlocked, Kearny Police Sgt. John Manley said. Investigators suspected the object was for use in Santeria rituals.

The object, found about 1,000 feet from PATH tracks, triggered a major response from emergency personnel, including Jersey City police bomb technicians, Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Police, Kearny police, New Jersey State Police, and investigators from the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office, Manley said. The Port Authority operates the PATH system.

Hudson County Prosecutor Edward DeFazio said further inspection revealed the bag contained “what could be described as a large gourd with pins stuck in it. Preliminary indications are that it has something to do with the Santeria cult.”

Bomb technicians X-rayed the pumpkin twice before declaring the large fruit to be nonexplosive, Manley said.

PATH service from Newark to Jersey City was suspended from 11:26 a.m. until 12:02 p.m., when Port Authority of New York and New Jersey officials were informed the object was harmless, said Port Authority spokesman Steve Coleman.

Santeria, an amalgam of religious traditions, originated in West Africa and was practiced by slaves in Cuba. The religion blends African beliefs with Roman Catholicism, fusing Christian saints with African deities. Rites, which includes animal sacrifice, are led by a priest or priestess, and reincarnation is a main belief.

New Jersey is home to thousands of practitioners of Santeria. It is practiced by an estimated one million people in the United States.

O Farol da Barra, um dos principais cartões postais de Salvador, capital baiana, reuniu milhares de baianos para a festa de Réveillon, comandada pelas cantoras Gal Costa, Ivete Sangalo e Margareth Menezes.

Os fogos de artifício foram disparados de balsas para favorecer uma visão plena de todo o espetáculo de vários pontos da orla da cidade.

Ao amanhecer, a festa se mudou para a Praia de Boa Viagem, na Cidade Baixa, onde centenas de embarcações participaram da procissão marítima do Senhor Bom Jesus dos Navegantes, uma das mais tradicionais do calendário católico.

Depois da volta da imagem do Bom Jesus, recomeçaram os rituais religiosos em meio à chamada Festa de Largo, realizada ao som de batuques, e o consumo de bebidas e de comidas típicas.

A primeira missa do ano fez os fiéis subirem a Colina Sagrada, onde fica a Igreja do Bonfim.

Grande parte da orla da capital baiana, porém, amanheceu pontuada de despachos, ou ebós, como são chamadas as oferendas de comida e de bebida que são feitas aos orixás, de acordo com os adeptos do culto afro. Os chamados “trabalhos de limpeza”, também conhecidos como “sacudimento”, são recomendados no período do Ano-Novo por cerca de mil terreiros de candomblé, em Salvador.

Iemanjá também pode auxiliar os que querem ter dinheiro todo o ano de 2003. Pegue a nota de maior valor que conseguir e molhe na água do mar. Empunhará também a caneta e o livro para defender a todos nos tribunais. Com sua espada e seus metais, Ogum também não deixará de reinar. Ficará sempre por perto de Iansã e Xangô”, acrescentou ele.

Ducho de Ogum disse que, em 2003, os orixás vão pedir paz e misericórdia para os homens. Afirmou que o presidente eleito, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, “deve ter compreensão com o povo pobre, para que as pessoas desassistidas não passem mais necessidades”. Depois de observar que não era ele, mas o jogo de búzio o responsável pelas previsões, Ducho de Ogum afirmou que Lula vai encontrar muitas dificuldades “para desembaraçar tudo o que está aí”. O babalorixá informou ainda que os orixás querem a união da família, como forma de acabar com a desarmonia no mundo e pedem para que as demais religiões não invadam a privacidade do candomblé. A poucos metros do terreiro de Ducho de Ogum há uma igreja pentecostal.

Verão de Salvador abraça um mundo de celebrações

Salvador announced the onset of a series of catholic and African celebrations that will become another means to attract people to the city this summer. In the morning of the first day, hundreds of boats follow the Galeota Gratitude do Povo – with the image of The Good Jesus of the Navigators – from the Command wharf of the second Naval District, in front of the Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception of the Beach. The procession finishes at Boa Viagem Beach, in front of the Church of Our Lady of Boa Viagem – after having paraded by the Barra lighthouse.

The Lapinha celebration takes place on Three Kings Day and initiates the countdown for the washing of the steps of the Church of Bonfim – the second thursday of the year, the 16th of January. – This only cause conflict. I never saw any “work” to elect anobody. The candidate who works more and presents the best proposal is the one who is elected – he argues.

In the Federal District, Candomblé has about 80 thousand adepts. The official federacy of the religion has 2,560 members. Paiva believes that the work of the umbandistas to favor Magela is pure opportunism.
