We extend our condolences to the omorishas and family of Ángel “Jorge” Valle, Shangó Ainá, who passed away yesterday in Miami. Ordained in Puerto Rico, Shangó Ainá was a descendant of the large Orisha branch created in that island by the late Rudy Domínguez, Ifá’fúnniké. Shangó Ainá followed in the tradition of his branch, ordaining a considerable number of people. I had the honor of officiating as Oriaté for several of his ordinations. Ibá é l’ayén t’orún Shangó Ainá.
