The imbibing of alcoholic beverages is taboo for his followers, as well as the eating of horse meat, hot pepper, and highly-spiced foods. White and sensible foods will make for a comfortable and long life. He is worshipped in the City of Ifón and is a native of Irange , Nigeria . Albinos are his followers.

Accompanying Divinity: Oshún: Osha of Maternity and protector of the newly-born. She is made sacrifices to protect our children, during pregnancy, and in the early years (post-natal). She is wise and generous. She is rendered tribute in deep places, where the river originates and where it empties. She is received in order to aliviate problems with children and help in their development and conduct.
