INTRODUCTION
Orisa Energies for 2003: Orunmila, Oba, Esu, Ogun, Oshun, Osayin, Obatala, Oya, Aje, Sango, Olokun, Odudua.
In 2003 the energy that is Obatala expects you to use your head. Do all offerings, think clearly and logically and this energy will carry you.
Orunmila demands that ifá followers bring all their problems to him. He will advise through divination or dreams what offerings are to be made from time to time. Like all other religions there are people who think Orunmila is a magic divinity. He does all things bit by bit in his own subtle way and at his own pace. Orunmila says that there is a way to improve your lot by approaching ifá priests because Orunmila can turn misfortune to fortune, hard luck to good luck and a bad head to a good head.
Esu will make available opportunity in 2003. His friend is the one who respects and feeds him, while his enemies starve and ignore him. If you want Esu to open your path to opportunities, then don’t neglect the energy that is Esu for it will block opportunities. PRIMARY ODU
Ogbe Oche is the primary energy flow this year. It is odu of the earth and of wealth despite envious enemies. It is also the odu of trading and commerce. You must dress beautifully all the time. This odu speaks of the pact between Osayin and the enemies of the earth; the contest between Obatala and Olokun. Orunmila slept with Olosa, the parrot of Orunmila. Olosa was the wife of Olokun. Orunmila divined for himself and Esu came. When people come they will not see you. Esu caused the person to see a leopard instead of Orunmila. This odu speaks of the African grey parrot and how the red feather (ikode) is used to remove negative energies. Obatala wears ikode for the first time. With patience Obatala became rich with the ikode that his servant plucked from the parrots that raided his farm. Obatala expects you to use your head this year. Do offerings. Think clearly and logically. Obatala will carry you in 2003. Ifá says, do offerings because the energy can bring blessings. Odu of ifá, odu of envy, odu of respect, odu of patience, odu of destruction; indecision; lies attract turmoil; good news; a woman saves your life; others want to imitate you; sentimental life takes a new and happy turn; materialization of goals by itself without the effort of the person; wealth; better days; circumspection; clear your subconscious of negativity; you spend a lot of money, but are always broke.
SUPPORTING ODU
Odi Otura is the secondary energy flow for 2003. This odu indicates IRE (positive energy) and speaks of better days that will come. Exercise patience in the face of adversity. This odu speaks of taking better care of your health. You must be calm and avoid erratic and hateful behavior. You cannot be impulsive or handle situations with force. You must respect elders. This odu makes available the opportunity for prosperity.
In order to reap the positive opportunities being made available to you in this energy flow, you must work constantly to balance all aspects of your life. All offerings must be completed to remove existing blockages. The opportunities exist to achieve true spiritual growth and development. Working hard to maintain balance will connect you to the positive energy flow of Odi Otura.
CONFIRMING ODU
Ogbe Osa is the confirming energy flow for 2003. This odu speaks of completing what you start. Odudua becomes the supreme ruler of Yorubaland. Do not repeat negativity you once did. Sango eats ram for the first time. This odu favors the study of transactions, pleasant and profitable journeys, favorable and mysterious help and joyful relationships. You must complete all endeavors despite obstacles and learn to separate good friendships from bad friendships. To strengthen prosperity, ifá needs silver dollar wrapped with piece of your clothing. You need ileke of Obatala. If you do not have this orisa, ileke must have a key. Put a bowl of fresh water inside the house and outside the house. Spiritual mass for ancestors. You must consult ifá before a major move. Odudua orders the person to feed Olokun in the beginning of the year.
Family: do offerings to bring an end to family problems. Family is in conflict for no good reason. What someone may or may not have said or done is not a good reason to act negatively with family.
