All of Eleda.org Publications are of pristine quality and reflect the highest academic standards. Practitioners and scholars will find this newest contribution to the Orisha traditions incredibly valuable. Sadly, there are so many books of highly dubious intent being pumped out there and Oloshas are breaking with tradition all over the place for the sake of glorifying some desire to be looked upon as innovative. People are literally making up things as they go along and justifying it by saying it's part of the creative process. It's terribly sad that tradition and regleman is being disregarded for ego aggrandizement. So, my point is Eleda.org is continuously providing the highest quality material with the most accurate, researched information. This beautiful contribution is a precious addition to this effort and needs to be in every practitioner's library.

This book is a real gem. I learned to sing osain with this book many years ago, and learned many songs for the orichas too. I also love the bead patterns associated with the roads of the orichas. The book is in Spanish and there are several mistakes, as its author explained, but it is still worth having in your ocha book collection.

We can all attest to the fact that things are not done the way they used to be done. Many changes reflect the conditions we've encountered in adaptation of Orisha tradition to the Americas and beyond, and many just reflect lack of knowledge of actual traditions themselves. Reclaiming tradition while embracing new realities, the revised version of Adimú has broken new ground in written works dedicated to Orisha tradition in an effort to preserve those traditions among the growing number of practitioners who must adapt to the practice as well as the culture that informs Orisha tradition. The book is written well within the culinary cultural context which informs it. The food is prepared for taste through these recipes, drawing upon generations of Alashes that informed Willie's understanding of the important and sacred space that the kitchen occupies in Lukumi tradition. This is often overlooked and undervalued. Any experienced practitioner knows that if the kitchen is in chaos, the ceremonies may also suffer the same fate. Also, the list of adimus for each Orisha is comprehensive, clear and an excellent guide for practitioners, making the book a valuable resource.

This book has so much information. The fellow who wrote it, as well as being part of the religion is also a historian so he has researched his info and goes into great detail, especially of the different paths of Yemaya. Would definitely recommend!

This book is about yeye Oshun the orisha of love, feminity, & more. The book shares a brief history, names and stories of her various paths and roads. Information on offerings, associations with nature. Great book to have if you are wanting to learn/look deeper into this orisha. Praying that the author can continue the orisha into completion!
